Parker Farm Red Angus
Ben & Tricyn Huntsman-Parker, DVM.

Cattle has been a part of Ben Parker's entire life. Ever since his grandfather gave him his first Polled Hereford Heifer when he was a little boy, he has been hooked.

He left for Ohio State to pursue a college degree and worked in Columbus, Ohio for almost five years. He then returned home to his true passion: Beef cattle. Ben has taken the responsibility of caring for the cattle on his family's farm, as well as his own on a full time basis. Now their commercial herd is heavily based on the Red Angus breed, and he is beginning to sell registered stock as well.

Ben believes that through his heritage it is not only his duty to provide the best for the cattle, but the best for the land and the best for the consumer.  He stands by the old adage that "we have not inherited this land from our fathers, but borrowed it from our children."

Ben married Tricyn Huntsman in 2017, and the co-op welcomed her with open arms - not only because she is a top-notch person, but also because of the expertise she could bring to the table.

Tricyn Huntsman-Parker graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Ross University.  She grew up on an exotic animal farm located in a small town named Richville in Northern Ohio. She met Ben at an Ohio State football game.  She is currently an associate veterinarian at a mixed practice in Hillsboro, Ohio.

The Parker's welcomed their first child, a beautiful little girl into the world in April, 2019. There is no doubt that she will love animals, great and small, just like her parents.
