Liming Family Cattle
Adam and Alli Hamilton have both been a part of beef production from a young age. They both were active in 4-H, FFA, and junior fair board with showing beef cattle as the main focus of these. Through these experiences and the farming background of each family they both knew a life in agriculture was where they were meant to be. Adam is of the fourth generation of his family to farm in Brown County. Alli grew up watching and helping her parents raise beef cattle and sell freezer beef, so it only made sense for beef production to be a part their own operation.
Adam and Alli currently live on the farm they purchased when they were married. Along with the beef cattle, they raise soybeans, corn, wheat, and hay. In the past five years they have added selling freezer beef to their cow/calf operation. They take pride in the work and care that goes into providing quality beef for their customers. They want the beef they produce to not only taste good but be healthy, with the consumer knowing where and how the beef was raised.
As with many farm families of today, both Alli and Adam work jobs off of the farm as well. Alli is an 8th grade math teacher at Hamersville Elementary-Middle School, and Adam works for the Ohio Department of Transportation as an equipment operator.
Adam and Alli are Farm Bureau members, Brown County Cattlemen Association members, as well as Junior Fair Beef Department volunteers.
